Taylor Deals With Stalker Issues .. Again.
 TMZ.com -- Taylor Jones had been granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker who is delusional and believes he’s dating her back in August of 2009.
The 26 year old Country star says the obsessed fan has been following her and is an immediate threat, according to the restraining order, which was obtained by TMZ.com.
Calvin Scott Edwards began sending Jones Twitter and private journal messages last fall, professing his love for her, she says. After he moved from Texas to Jones' city of Los Angeles, California, to be near her, according to the document. Edwards, who allegedly believes he’s in a relationship with Jones, turned up at the singer's appearances in L.A., sometimes wearing joker face paint.
He also allegedly provoked the singer's then boyfriend, actor Lance McAllister as he was leaving his house one night according to the document. Bizarrely, Edwards also tweeted to Jones to ask forgiveness for missing an imaginary dinner date planned in Vegas.
Under the restraining order, apparently recommended by LAPD’s Threat Management unit, Edwards is to stay 500 yards away from Jones and stop contacting her but recently he went against the restraining order and made contact with the singer leading to his arrest.

Taylor Jones Heads To The Persian Gulf.
 TheBoot.com — Country music star Taylor Jones has signed up to entertain troops on her first United Service Organizations tour of the Persian Gulf.
Jones, who was recently named CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and nominated for two Grammy Awards, will perform for and meet with service members on the tour. Exact dates and locations of her shows in the gulf region were not made public by the USO.
"There are no details and no dates for safety and security reasons," publicist Jessie Schmidt said Wednesday.
"They never release exactly where the tours are happening, or exactly when they're happening. All I can share is that it is sometime before too long from now. But I don't even know the exact locations that she's going in the Persian Gulf," Schmidt said.
Schmidt said USO officials approached Jones, originally of Dallas, Texas, about touring the Persian Gulf region several months ago and plans have been in place "for quite some time."
"She is completely excited about it," Schmidt said. "She does have some band members that are able to go with her over there, so they're just all really jazzed."
"When she does return from the tour we can say that she's just come back, and hopefully we'll have some photos that they'll service to the press from over there as well," Schmidt said.
Jones also was seen Monday on a segment of the Oprah Winfrey Show taped last week, performing her hit song, Temporary Home, and joining fellow guests Tony Bennett, Josh Groban and Michael Buble for a rendition of Stevie Wonder's For Once in My Life. |

This update was long coming and I finally have time to myself at home, so after I spent most of the morning cleaning and everything, I'm on here. Lovely right? Any way, I hope everybody had a great Christmas and ate lots of food. Lances' parents flew into town and I had the pleasure of meeting them on Christmas Eve. We watched so much First 48 that day I don't think I'm able to watch it for some time now. His mother is such a doll and so sweet, his father had my sides hurting with all his jokes and stories he brought with him. They were really sweet people and it was nice to finally meet them. Got to spend the day with Lance and Ry until he had to take him to his mother's, so I left there and went straight to LAX to pick my parents and brother up. Needless to say, a lot more members of my family had showed up as a suprise and we ended up calling two cabs to haul everyone to my place. Ethan told me after he graduates that he's moving out to Los Angeles and I just laughed at him. My brother is such a country boy, so you see, to hear him say this with his southern accent just made me laugh, I couldn't help it. We spent the rest of the day and night just catching up at my house before we all went out and ate dinner before turning in for the night. Christmas Day was real busy because after everything was said and done, everybody exchanged gifts and such, I took everybody around California for the day. The only person who is some what familiar with the West Coast is my step mom and she still gets lost. Once we had made it to the pier, my dad took all the boys and my step mom and myself took all the girls our seperate way. Don't know exactly what they did but I know us girls had a blast. Everybody stayed one more night before everybody was flying back home and yes, I was a little emotional but come on, it's rare these days I get family time and I knew I was going to miss them like crazy. After they left, I was back into the studio the following day and have been since until today. This is my off day and so is tomorrow. And the next day, should I choose to not fly to New York for New Year's. Who knows what I'll do this year.

2010 Lessons Learned Tour Dates Released.
 CMT.com -- Country sensation Taylor Jones has announced a 45-city tour in 2010 to support her latest album, Lessons Learned. With dates in the U.S. and Canada, the first leg of the itinerary begins March 11 in Reading, Pa., and concludes May 30 in Spokane, Wash. She will be joined by Craig Morgan as well as Sons of Sylvia, a band formerly known as the Clark Brothers, who also collaborated with Taylor on her latest album.
“I am getting so excited about next year as we currently work through all the big plans for the tour, all the costumes and dancers I'll have with me. It's a first for me this tour because I haven't really had dancers and in a few of the songs they come out and shake it with me.” she said. “I cannot wait to perform my new music and see familiar faces across the U.S. and Canada!”

Taylor Jones To Appear At CNN Heroes Galla.
 (CNN) – Actress Nicole Kidman and Grammy Award-winning artist Taylor Jones are among the celebrities scheduled to appear on “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute,” airing Thanksgiving night on CNN.
Jones and three-time Grammy Award nominee Leona Lewis will each perform at the gala, which returns to the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood as the network celebrates its third year of honoring everyday people making a difference. Kidman is scheduled to join celebrities Kate Hudson, Neil Patrick Harris, Pierce Brosnan, Dwayne Johnson, Eva Mendes and Julia Louis-Dreyfus as presenters. Additional celebrity appearances are expected to be announced in the coming days.
Last year’s show included appearances by Hugh Jackman, Salma Hayek, Cameron Diaz, Forest Whitaker, Meg Ryan, Terrence Howard, Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale and Lucy Liu, with performances by Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys and John Legend.

Long story short, I met a guy and he took me out for dinner. We then went for a walk before he dropped me off at home. It was nice and I haven't been on a date in months. No goodnight kiss, just a warm hug and we parted ways with each others numbers. Best part about it? He isn't famous or aspiring to be! Life is looking up. |

Wow. After flying and riding pretty much everywhere, I'm back home and thank the good Lord for that. I'm pooped. The CMA's most def took it out of me, I actually got back to LA yesterday but felt the need to treat myself to a day at the spa, so here I am on my lazy day finally updating this thing. Where to even begin? Well, the album is number one right now in the Country and the single is number one as well and I couldn't be more happier. I hosted the CMA's with Brad again this year and got to finally meet his newest edition to his family, I gotta say he's got his momma's features but his daddy's smile. They make cute babies together. Alsooo, I snagged a video of my performance from ABC's site so I hope they don't get upset. Things outside of work are .. eh is way I would put it. I haven't had much time to do much of anything else right now, I'm in Dallas with the family when I do have it. My parents are doing great and so is my brother, he's actually coming real close to finishing school and getting his degree. I'm proud of him if I do say myself. I haven't seen any signs of Calvin around anymore which is good, I'm not complaining one bit actually. Haven't seen or heard from much of Lance lately either. I don't know, I guess we're both just real busy. Any way, I'm home and enjoying my day to myself.
