2010 Lessons Learned Tour Dates Released.

CMT.com -- Country sensation Taylor Jones has announced a 45-city tour in 2010 to support her latest album, Lessons Learned. With dates in the U.S. and Canada, the first leg of the itinerary begins March 11 in Reading, Pa., and concludes May 30 in Spokane, Wash. She will be joined by Craig Morgan as well as Sons of Sylvia, a band formerly known as the Clark Brothers, who also collaborated with Taylor on her latest album.

I am getting so excited about next year as we currently work through all the big plans for the tour, all the costumes and dancers I'll have with me. It's a first for me this tour because I haven't really had dancers and in a few of the songs they come out and shake it with me.” she said. “I cannot wait to perform my new music and see familiar faces across the U.S. and Canada!

For a list of tour dates and ticket info, visit Taylor's official Website or purchase tickets in advance at Ticketmaster.com.

[music |kelly clarkson -- never again]

Does it hurt to know I'll never be there? Bet it sucks, to see my face everywhere.
It was you, who chose to end it like you did, I was the last to know. You knew exactly what you would do and don't say, you simply lost your way. She may believe you but I never will, never again.

If she really knows the truth, she deserves you. A trophy wife, oh, how cute. Ignorance is bliss but when your day comes, and he's through with you. And he'll be through with you, you'll die together but alone.

Long story short, I met a guy and he took me out for dinner. We then went for a walk before he dropped me off at home. It was nice and I haven't been on a date in months. No goodnight kiss, just a warm hug and we parted ways with each others numbers. Best part about it? He isn't famous or aspiring to be! Life is looking up.

Wow. After flying and riding pretty much everywhere, I'm back home and thank the good Lord for that. I'm pooped. The CMA's most def took it out of me, I actually got back to LA yesterday but felt the need to treat myself to a day at the spa, so here I am on my lazy day finally updating this thing. Where to even begin? Well, the album is number one right now in the Country and the single is number one as well and I couldn't be more happier. I hosted the CMA's with Brad again this year and got to finally meet his newest edition to his family, I gotta say he's got his momma's features but his daddy's smile. They make cute babies together. Alsooo, I snagged a video of my performance from ABC's site so I hope they don't get upset. Things outside of work are .. eh is way I would put it. I haven't had much time to do much of anything else right now, I'm in Dallas with the family when I do have it. My parents are doing great and so is my brother, he's actually coming real close to finishing school and getting his degree. I'm proud of him if I do say myself. I haven't seen any signs of Calvin around anymore which is good, I'm not complaining one bit actually. Haven't seen or heard from much of Lance lately either. I don't know, I guess we're both just real busy. Any way, I'm home and enjoying my day to myself.

Taylor Says 'Every Woman' Has Met A Cowboy Casanova.
'We're not trashing this guy; we're just warning these other girls about him,' she says of her sassy single.

Three albums into her career, Taylor Jones is already a country-music vet, paving the way for ladies like Taylor Swift to find success outside of the southern states. On her latest album the "American Idol" alum is proving her songwriting muscle, especially on the sassy first single "Cowboy Casanova."

"I think to every woman, this song would be telling a story about someone they know or met or has tried to pick them up in a bar," she said in an interview with CMT. "There's definitely guys in my past, even if it was a friend's boyfriend or something."

We had to ask if this was written about anyone and Jones, who has released her fair share of sassy country/pop hits, insists that her song is in no way bashing the title dude. "We're not trashing this guy; we're just warning these other girls about him. Who knows, maybe now people can listen to this song and better identify these men," she said, jokingly adding, "I'm helping women around the world!"

Although Taylor helped write seven of the 13 songs on the album, working with writers like "Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi and Mike Elizondo (Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg), she would rather a song on her album be good than written by her.

"It's really not that important to me. I love to write, but the best songs win — end of story — whether they're mine or not," she said. "There were a couple where I was like, 'No way' — and they were my own! You'd think I'd be pushing, but I'm not. There are some awesome songwriters out there." Her new album is available now in stores everywhere, for preview of the album go to www.JonesFans.net.

Taylor's New Single Number 3 On I-Tunes Already!

CMT.com -- Earlier this year, Jones became the first country singer to chart 10 consecutive No. 1 hits when “I Told You So” reached the top of the charts. Her upcoming disc, “Lessons Learned,” will be released Nov. 3, led by the single “Cowboy Casanova.”

Taylor said she had an opportunity to write more for “Lessons Learned” than she did for her previous albums. “I feel like I’m a lot more comfortable with myself as a writer,” Jones said. “That just happens — the more you do it, the easier it gets, I suppose. So I branched out and wrote with a lot of people that I’d never met before — people who weren’t even necessarily involved in country music.”

Among those collaborators was Zac Maloy, former lead singer of Texas City band The Nixons. “I had to be a fan,” Jones said. “I said, ‘I saw you when I was in high school.’ So it was a lot of fun for me to write with him.” Frisco, a member of the hall of fame’s board who has shared stages with Eric Clapton and played with Flash Terry and the Gene Cross band, said his induction was a total surprise. “Well I’m blown away — I never expected this. I’ve had a lot of lucky moments playing music with really important people in important places, but this takes the cake,” he said. Taylor emphasized the high quality of performers inducted into the hall of fame this year and in past years, including Toby Keith, Vince Gill and The All-American Rejects, and she said it was emblematic of the unusual level of talent found in the state.

“It makes me feel good to join a long line of musicians from Texas,” Jones said. “We have it in spades. People always ask me, ‘What’s in the water down there?’” When asked what happened to her heel she just shrugged and laughed. “I don't know, one minute I was standing there and the next my heel was stuck to the stage, so I just said f@&! it.”

[mood | tired]

I made it here in Texas only to be greeted by my manager who was waiting for me to touch down with a surprise. I was asked along with other fellow artists to attend and perform at a small festival here in Dallas and I was like 'well, why not you know?' So, I was taken straight from the air port to hair and make up pretty much. Went through the line up of the night and had some fun.

some back stage action: )

Needless to say, I didn't get to my parents house until way into the night and we all had a big breakfast this morning since I missed them yesterday. I'm looking forward to this little break with my family, seriously, it is way over due.

Private: Lance only.
He came over to my new place before I was leaving and well, I'm still confused about so much. I don't know what we are doing here. I know in my heart how I feel about him but that doesn't mean he feels the same. I need to just take some time and try to forget about what is going on right now until things are more clear. He's trying to convince others and himself that he's some womanizing jerk or something, which really pisses me off because for one, he isn't that. Sure, he hurt some people but you know what? That is life, you can't please every body on this Earth. Plain and simple. You gotta upset some people some times, they'll get over it one way or another. He isn't a jerk, I know for a fact that he isn't. He needs to open his damn eyes and see this, for real.
